In order to maintain and regulate temperature in the working components of a vehicle, a coolant or antifreeze is necessary. Most automotive engines are water-cooled, although the water is actually antifreeze/water mixture and not plain water. In order for an engine to run properly and maintain a proper temperature, coolant flushes are needed to remove old antifreeze and replace it with a new coolant. Additional coolants and liquids are added to help protect vehicles’ radiators.
If you’re unsure if you need to have these liquids replaced, you can bring in your vehicle for coolant checks. We’ll take a look and let you know if any additional work needs to be done. Radiator flushes can be taken care of at our facility and we’ll try and get it taken care of as quickly as possible. Please feel free to give AV Bumper to Bumper a call and set up an appointment to get your vehicle taken care of.
