We repair everything. No matter what type of vehicle you own, we can repair it, including RVs, ATVs, trucks, cars and motorcycles. Every now and then, a new type of vehicle is introduced to the market and depending on its popularity, the industry will follow suit or go back to the drawing board. The next big thing in the auto industry may be arriving soon. The mini-crossover is a small SUV-styled vehicle that will combine and share parts and systems with compact and sub-compact cars.

Mark Phelan, who writes for the Detroit Free Press had this to say in an article he wrote earlier this morning. “You may not have seen one yet, but small crossovers will be all around soon, starting when the North American International Auto Show opens in Detroit in January.

From the performance-oriented BMW X1 to a Honda concept vehicle based on the subcompact Fit, there’s likely to be a micro-crossover for just about every taste.”

The benefits of a mini-crossover include easy parking, high fuel economy with plenty of passenger and cargo room. Let’s not forget the features SUV lovers have to have; available all-wheel drive and the high seating position. Crossovers already accounted for 25% of vehicle sales in November. The appeal to buyers is the addition of SUV looks with car-type structures and engineering. Throw in better fuel economy and it seems to be a winning combination down the line.

We’ve seen all types of cars, and were sure it won’t be long before we’re helping Southern California mini-crossover owners get their oil changed or take care of their auto maintenance.
